Extension and Communication Area

The Extension and Communication Area of the Institute coordinates actions to promote the articulation of the knowledge generated with other sectors of society and stimulate the dialogue of knowledge between the different actors.

We address limnology related studies re-significating aquatic ecosystems, learning about their diversity and discussing the need to preserve them. The internal and external communication actions allow us to add up and exchange learning, knowledge and experiences in a dynamic way, strengthening the links of the institution.

Our objetives

  • To articulate the knowledge generated in the Institute with other sectors of society.
  • To add learning, knowledge and experiences in a dynamic way, strengthening the links of the Institute with other actors (schools, clubs, social organizations, etc.).
  • promote public communication of the results of the Institute's research.

The Extension and Communication Area was created in 2015, as an initiative of the group of scholars, with the mission of creating a space where researchers, technicians, scholars and interns can share the group, collective and interdisciplinary work in activities related to extension and communication.
